Sheri McGregor is a life coach, a writer, and a mother of five. Despite being a professed “Earth Mother,” who home schooled and nursed her babies, she always kept her dream tucked away in the corner of her heart and mind.
After her mother’s sudden death, her dream of becoming a paid and published writer grew urgent. If she waited until her kids were grown, would there still be time?
“When my mom died, I knew she had unfulfilled dreams,” says McGregor. “It made me realize I needed to follow my own dreams–now.”
Since that time, McGregor has authored hundreds and hundreds of articles, essays and short stories for newspapers and magazines for national and international publications. She has also authored several books, earned her degree in Psychology, and works as a life coach–which she loves! McGregor’s life coaching helps work-at-home and self-employed women with more effective time management, confidence issues, overwhelm, stress, and the nuts and bolts of running a business. In addition Sheri McGregor writes fiction. Two novels, which are still selling in other countries, and a novella, and short stories are among her credits.
In 2008, McGregor started working toward her MA in Human Behavior, and looks forward to holding that degree in 2010. Like other mothers, McGregor hopes that by fulfilling her dreams, she will inspire her sons and daughters to follow theirs, too.
